Seattle D.E.I 4-H Event

Washington State 4-H Teen Equity & Inclusion Task Force is partnering with 4-H collegiates from around the country to put on a grassroots D.E.I. event for professionals and youth in Seattle and beyond. A lot of our information can be found on our website wa4hteenequity.com as well as our instagram account, theideasummit . This program is being designed by a group of 18-23 year olds and the content is emerging and so exciting to see. We would love to invite any interested faculty, staff, collegiates, volunteers, teens, TLEI teams, Juntos program youth, and so on to attend. Please help us share about this event, these young alumni are so invested in creating an inclusive 4-H community of sharing and learning. Feel free to let me know if you have questions

.

Below is also a call for professional development workshops open through February 16th. There will likely be an extension on proposals into next week.

Land Acknowledgement

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.

This land acknowledgment has been reviewed and approved by the traditional Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' leadership. Learn more
