NYS 4-H is proud to partner with States 4-H International bringing an International Opportunties to the families of of New York. NYS 4-H has commited to hosting a delegation of 18 youth and 2 adult chaperones this summer and we NEED HOST FAMILIES. This program is one of the greatest opportunities for a family to experience American culture through the eyes of someone new.

Host families can be located anywhere in NYS. They must be able to provide a bed for their delegate but may share a room with their host sibling who is the same gender and between the ages of 11 and 19. The delegates are coming to experience an American Family summer and will do whatever activities the family does during thier stay. Nothing special needs to be planned, just a good ol' family friendly summer.

We very much need 7 more host families to fill the needs of our youth participants this summer.  This program is open to ALL Families, not just 4-H members.  In fact this can be a great introduction to what 4-H has to offer youth who may not think of 4-H in a non-traditional way.

Please share this opportunity far and wide as we work to find families for each of our delegates.

Here is the information on the 7 youth we still need to place ASAP.

Thank you all for your assistance with this.
