I wanted to share several new opportunities to connect with NASA as we celebrate this celestial event, and recap some other opportunities:
Engagement Activities Demo: Attend a one-hour webinar to learn more about how to engage audiences with solar eclipse activities at your SunSpot events for the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse. The webinar will repeat every Wednesday, 4-5 p.m. ET from Feb. 14 through March 20. You will be able to ask our experts questions live! Register here: https://forms.gle/R5xQs6iCpozy9YmG7, and see the attached flyer.
Public Engagement Collaboration: If you would like to have a physical presence or collaborate in some other way at NASA SunSpot location, fill out this form by Feb. 15: https://forms.gle/YUUD9GUu5BPyMHpD9.
Requesting Speakers: To request NASA speakers visit: https://stemgateway.nasa.gov/nasaengages/s/
Sharing Your Event: To post your PUBLIC event on the NASA Eclipse Event Calendar, go to: https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/eclipse-events/create/ (Username: penumbra /Password: chromosphere). After you submit, please save the URL of your event page so that you can go back and make edits as needed. Please DO NOT share this login information with others -- if others want to submit events, please have them reach out to me for the info. (Events will be posted on https://science.nasa.gov/eclipses/events/.)
Use of NASA Eclipse Assets: If you are coordinating with NASA on an event, you are welcome to use Eclipse graphics developed for partners to connect to the larger Total Eclipse celebration. You may find these graphics here. Official NASA logos are not available for use for event branding, but you may use images and other media found on NASA public websites, in accordance with our Media Usage Guidelines. There are some great visualizations here, and any images and content found on our main Eclipse website are also available for use in accordance with these same guidelines.
Webinar Recording: If you missed the opportunity to view our information webinar last week visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnFvn7o8-L4 to view an archive.
