Update to Simplify 4-H Reporting

Dear Executive Directors & 4-H Program Leaders (and all staff connected to enrollment, program registration, and year-end reporting)

The NYS 4-H Team is working to simplify and improve the annual program reporting process for 4-H youth development programs. This process currently includes a transfer of data from 4-H Online 2.0 to the CCE Program Development & Reporting Tool. As an initial step, only individual enrollments (such as those from clubs, independent members, and volunteers) will continue to be entered into 4-H Online 2.0. All group enrollments should now be entered directly into the Program Development and Reporting Tool (PD& R). This change is for the current program year (10/1/21-9/30/22). Adam and Celeste have offered to support any counties who will need to transfer 4-H Group Enrollment data which has already been added to 4-H Online.

What this means for you:

  1. Continue to track Individual Enrollment data in 4-H Online 2.0

  2. Enter “Group Enrollment” directly into CCE Program Development & Reporting Tool - this is a change in practice.

To better understand what this means for your 4-H program, please see the 4-H Participation Reporting Update. We hope this change will help to simplify the process and we welcome your questions and feedback as we continue to improve the process.

With thanks,

4-H Program Planning & Reporting Team
