About True Leaders in Equity Institute (TLEI)

From Sunday, July 7 to Thursday, July 11, 2024, the True Leaders in Equity Institute will prepare delegations  to be change agents within the Cooperative Extension System as we work to create more welcoming and inclusive environments.  This training and leadership opportunity challenges participants to work together to ideate and champion equity-related projects that will grow 4-H in their communities.

4-H believes in youth and adults working together to leverage the strengths that each group brings to their communities and world.

Land Acknowledgement

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.

This land acknowledgment has been reviewed and approved by the traditional Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' leadership. Learn more
