NYSACCE4-HE Professional Development Committee is Seeking RFPs

Dear Youth Development Colleagues,

The New York State Association of Cornell Cooperative Extension 4-H Educators (NYSACCE4-HE ) Professional Development Committee and its Western 4-H District have been hard at work planning the annual New York State 4-H Educators’ Conference, scheduled for September 30 – October 2, 2025, at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel in Jamestown, New York.

The Professional Development Committee is currently soliciting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for the upcoming conference. We are seeking submissions for:

·       One poster session, scheduled for Thursday morning during breakfast

·       Twenty workshop sessions, including: Standard workshops (1 hour each) and one extended session (1.5 hours)

Workshops will take place on Wednesday, October 1, and Thursday, October 2, 2025. A variety of workshop spaces are available, both indoors and outdoors at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel.

This year, the committee is especially interested in proposals that align with the following focus tracks:

·       Thrive Model and Positive Youth Development

·       Project Materials and Curriculum,

·       4-H Club Management,

·       Leading with Purpose: Skill Building for Resilient and Effective 4-H Educators

·       Campus County Connections: best practices recording and documenting our impact, common core, regionalized programs, and organizational sustainability.

We invite you to submit a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the upcoming New York State 4-H Educators’ Conference. What innovative programming or impactful experiences have you been part of? Do you have research to share, or a project you wish more 4-H educators knew about? Have you attended a workshop that inspired you and think the presenter would be a great fit for our conference? Encourage them to submit a proposal!

Now is your opportunity to share your knowledge and help strengthen youth development across the state. Whether it's a workshop or a poster presentation, your contribution can make a difference. Presenters do not need to be members of NYSACCE4-HE to participate. This conference is a platform for all youth development professionals to grow and learn together—what better way to support that mission than by presenting?

Deadline for submissions is July 17th . Do not procrastinate. Stay on track and submit your proposal right now through the online form, located on the Cornell Cooperative Extension Event Registration page under Oswego and Erie counties. This link and the QR Code will take you directly there:  https://reg.cce.cornell.edu/25RFPNYSACCE4HE_235

Be an integral part of the team that helps make the conference the best ever. Submit a RFP today.

Many Thanks- Linda Brosch, Chair of NYSACCE4-HE Professional Development Committee
