Ever wondered how to recruit and retain volunteers for your 4-H program?
We will dive into the four main reasons volunteer contribute and into the findings from the Northeast Regional Volunteer Impact Survey (2020) which was designed to gather service data and volunteers’ perceptions of their impact on the youth, their community, and the organization they serve. The survey also encouraged volunteers to reflect on how their involvement in the program has provided them with new skills and personal development and qualitative questions to gather volunteer perspectives to demonstrate the broad scope of volunteer service and its importance to the 4-H Program.
Join us June 3rd @ 10am to learn more about what we learned and how it can be used to inform your 4-H program recruitment and retention.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
The NYS 4-H Volunteer Guild will continue on the 1st Friday of each month to connect educators around the topic of volunteers. Consider blocking your calendar to explore the current needs, systems, tools, and best practices with us. Connect with Kelly Campbell (kmc86@cornell.edu) for more information.
