NYS 4-H Equine Ambassadors

I hope this message finds you well! I’m excited to share the NYS 4-H Equine Ambassadors Program—a premier, yearlong leadership opportunity for high school juniors and seniors across New York State. This free program is designed for motivated youth who are passionate about horses and eager to grow as leaders.

Participants will build resumes, gain public speaking skills, network with equine industry professionals, and participate in 3-4 overnight trips, including time at the NYS Fair. It’s an incredible opportunity for youth who want to expand their skills and connections in the equine world!

Land Acknowledgement

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.

This land acknowledgment has been reviewed and approved by the traditional Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' leadership. Learn more
