Note: this department is being staffed by a single individual who is also handling all of the entries for the open and youth division shows as well as other parking and entry pass requests from exhibitors. Responses may be delayed, but we are told if you have emailed you are on the list to reserve a camping spot.
Contests
We now have updated information and details for registering for Robotics, the Great 4-H Cookoff, WHEP, Fashion Revue and Produced in New York (time and registration for PiNY coming ASAP). We also have new details about the Livestock Skillathon (scroll to Animal Science Block > Last slide) which now WILL be happening thanks to county educators who have pulled together to get it going! There may also be opportunities for 4-H'ers to participate in the FFA Livestock Judging competition but we are awaiting final details on that.
Fair Entries
The next ShoWorks animal science entry report will be sent out to educators today Wednesday, August 10. The next report will be sent Tuesday, August 16, following entry closure. We ask that educators review the entries and let Jenn Bassman know if there are any entries that have not qualified and need to be scratched.
Reminder - there are additional form submission requirements for HORSES, DAIRY CATTLE, and GOATS. Please check the species pages for these submission requirements.
If you have your Youth Building Exhibitor Lists completed, please send them to Autumn ASAP so we can begin entering them into ShoWorks.
