New youth program materials from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI): the Mindful Me Series: a research-informed resource designed to support emotional wellness for youth in grades K–8.
The Mindful Me Series includes five activities across three age groups (K–2, 3–5, and 6–8), featuring hands-on, age-appropriate lessons that help young people:
Understand and name their emotions
Build empathy and resilience
Practice healthy coping strategies
The program is flexible and well-suited for classrooms, after-school programs, and youth groups. All materials are free and include 15–30 minute lessons with facilitator guides, discussion questions, and adaptation tips.
NAMI New York State will lead a live training session for us on Monday, February 9 | 12:00–1:00 PM.
This opportunity is open to 4-H educators, staff, and volunteers—please feel free to share.
