IN-PERSON: Ontario County CCE, 480 N Main St, Canandaigua, NY 14424

ZOOM: Please register to receive the link

Desired outcomes for this gathering include:

• To grow the capacity for Community Development practice in CCE

• To gather across disciplines around Community Development Practice

• Build interest in bringing NACDEC’s Community Development 101 Training to NYS

• Expand CCE’s dialogical tools to address changes related to climate and emerging technologies

This dialogue coincides with the Annual Conference of the Community Development Society in Geneva, NY, July 6 - 9, 2025. The theme, Innovative Pathways to Thriving Communities: Technology, People, and Place-based Collaboration, directly connects to the CCE mission and inspires this event, with the hopes that there will be overlap.

You may request reimbursement for your mileage to travel to this event.

This event is made possible thanks to the generosity of the PWT Fund at Cornell Cooperative Extension.

Land Acknowledgement

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.

This land acknowledgment has been reviewed and approved by the traditional Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' leadership. Learn more
