National 4-H Conference

National Institute for Food and Agriculture’s (NIFA’s) Division of Youth and 4-H is planning the event, and it is NIFA’s premiere youth voice event. Both youth delegates and our Adult Advisors are welcomed to the nation’s capital for six days of compelling content, unparalleled learning, professional development, and networking. Inspirational keynotes and though-provoking challenge questions, roundtable discussions, briefing sessions, and unique community service opportunities abound. Back again is a dynamic youth career fair with interactive exhibits!

This is an excellent opportunity for any 4-H member ages 15-19 years old looking to connect, collaborate, share their voice and ideas with our federal government. It is also a wonderful professional development experience for CCE educators to serve as Adult Advisors. While we will also consider CCE approved volunteers, sending CCE educators to chaperone is our priority.

Registration information will be available soon.

Land Acknowledgement

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.

This land acknowledgment has been reviewed and approved by the traditional Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' leadership. Learn more
