Register for the 4-H Communication Institute until 8/31

Our Eastman Rice Scholars and Cornell University Communication department have helped to coordinate a great event. We will charge $100 for each youth (based on a double occupancy with a CCE approved volunteer or CCE staff member) to cover their lodging at Hotel Ithaca.

CCE approved volunteers and CCE staff members will have to complete (1) the required RMI 101 and 103 trainings, (2) three volunteer forms, (3) all program staff have to know how to report an incident involving a minor and (4) share their most recent background check date.

4-H members will be required to have their parent or guardian sign off on the above permission form.

Land Acknowledgement

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nÇ«' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo̱hó꞉nÇ«' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó꞉nÇ«' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó꞉nÇ«' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.

This land acknowledgment has been reviewed and approved by the traditional Gayogo̱hó꞉nÇ«' leadership. Learn more
