The NYS 4-H Beyond Ready Strategy Team has been hard at work synthesizing input from you and others all across New York; drafting a vision and strategic roadmap that could transform how we prepare young people to dream big and thrive in our rapidly changing world.  Our team of youth, young alumni, 4-H Educators, and community partners has spent months diving deep into what today's New York State youth need most and how 4-H can evolve to meet them where they are.

But we're not done yet. We need your expertise, your sparks, and your on-the-ground insights to make sure we're on the right path together.

Join us for a Focus Group where you'll:

  • Share what resonates with you and what would truly benefit the youth you serve

  • Help us prioritize the actions that will make the biggest impact

  • Connect with fellow educators who share your commitment to youth development

Ready to help us get Beyond Ready?

In-Person

You're invited to join us for refreshments and reflections at the Human Ecology In-Service on Thursday, April 16 from 5 to 6 PM in the Wendy Purcell Lounge, 2nd floor of Robert Purcell Community Center. This is open to In-Service participants and anyone interested in joining (you don’t have to be registered for the In-Service to attend).

Online

We’ll also be hosting two virtual statewide focus groups after the In-Service.

Thank you for all you do to help youth flourish. We can't wait to hear your thoughts!

Land Acknowledgement

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.

This land acknowledgment has been reviewed and approved by the traditional Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' leadership. Learn more
