NYS Fair Premium Book and Evaluations Supports

aml84

This is a quick note to let you know that they NYS 4-H State Fair Youth Building Premium Book is now available. You can find it on the NYS 4-H Webpage Under the Premium Book Tab. Just a reminder that this book will not be available in a hard copy format. https://www.nys4-h.org/new-york-state-fair

I have also been working on a training presentation of sorts that can help in educating evaluators on the Danish system and how to provide both positive and constructive feedback to youth. I will be completing a video presentation format of this soon but thought you all might like to have access to the slide deck as you are moving forward with fairs and evaluations. There are additional resources available under the Evaluation Best Practices Tab on the NYS 4-H Page link above.

More information to come soon and please be checking the webpage frequently as I am updating and sharing more information regarding State Fair almost daily.

As always I am happy to answer any questions that folks may have.

Land Acknowledgement

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.

This land acknowledgment has been reviewed and approved by the traditional Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' leadership. Learn more
