GOSHEN, N.Y. — The 2026-2027 New York State 4-H Equine Ambassadors officially began their year together with a three-day leadership and educational experience at the Harness Horse Youth Foundation (HHYF) Camp, held at the historic Goshen Historic Track in Goshen, New York.
The trip marked the first time the newly selected ambassadors gathered as a cohort, providing an opportunity to build relationships, develop leadership skills, and deepen their understanding of the harness racing industry.
The New York State 4-H Equine Ambassadors Program is a year-long leadership initiative that prepares outstanding youth to serve as ambassadors for New York’s equine industry. Throughout the year, participants develop skills in leadership, public speaking, communication, and equine education while representing New York State 4-H at educational programs, industry events, and outreach activities across the state.
