JOANN Point of Sale Campaign & Georgia Boot Trailblazers Contest!

I am reaching out with a number of exciting Cause Marketing updates at National 4-H Council.

Upcoming Campaigns

1. Georgia Boot Trailblazers Contest

  • February 1 – March 3

  • Opportunity for 4-H’ers to share about their projects for a chance to win a prize pack from Georgia Boot valued at $500 and recognition on Georgia Boot and national 4-H digital channels as a 2024 Trailblazer.

  • The application can be found at https://www.georgiaboot.com/4-H-trailblazers-application beginning Feb 1. Please do not publicly share the link until the contest opens.

2.  JOANN Point of Sale Campaign

  • March 3 – May 4

  • During the two-month promotional timeframe, customers can donate or round-up at checkout in JOANN stores to support 4-H.

  • A promotional toolkit can be found here that contains sample social media copy and assets for the JOANN and Georgia Boot campaigns. We request that you support these opportunities on your state and local digital communication channels. The JOANN campaign relies on consumer donations, so the more you can help drive people to JOANN stores, the more your program will earn!

  • All JOANN stores will also receive a Team Member box with information about 4-H and our partnership along with materials to encourage store engagement.

  • Stay tuned for more information to be shared in the coming week regarding the JOANN partnership.

Land Acknowledgement

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.

This land acknowledgment has been reviewed and approved by the traditional Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' leadership. Learn more
