Jo-Ann's Campaign Brings in 45K

aml84

The Spring 2023 JOANN campaign raised $45,000 for New York State 4-H, a seven percent increase from last year. National 4-H Council partners with JOANN to manage the campaign nationwide. Council has provided the contact information for store managers, encouraging you to connect with them to thank them and to coordinate support activities in stores during campaign dates. Council is looking for stories and photos about how JOANN funds have been used locally, to share with the company and strengthen this partnership. Send your stories to Ruth Campbell at rbc2@cornell.edu.

JOANN stores are also eager to connect with local 4-H clubs. To connect with a local store manager near you check out their management listing

Next year's campaign will start early February and run through April.

New York State 4-H will distribute JOANN funds to Associations along with Tractor Supply Company funds early next year. Please contact Ruth with any questions.

Land Acknowledgement

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nÇ«' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo̱hó꞉nÇ«' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó꞉nÇ«' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó꞉nÇ«' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.

This land acknowledgment has been reviewed and approved by the traditional Gayogo̱hó꞉nÇ«' leadership. Learn more
