Current Cause Marketing Campaigns from National 4-H Council

National 4-H council is excited to share two opportunities with our cause partners along with some resources that can be used to promote these campaigns if you choose.

  1. Georgia Boot Trailblazers Contest

    1. January 20 – February 24, 2023

    2. Opportunity for 4-H’ers to share about their projects for a chance to win a prize pack from Georgia Boot valued at $500 and recognition on Georgia Boot & 4-H digital channels as a 2023 Trailblazer

    3. 4-H’ers ages 12-18 can apply at https://www.georgiaboot.com/2023-4h-trailblazers by February 24, 2023

  2. JOANN POS Campaign

    1. January 31 – May 1, 2023

    2. During the promotional timeframe, customers can donate or roundup at checkout in JOANN stores to support 4-H.

    3. 100% of donations support 4-H with 70% going back to the state where those funds were raised.

Attached you will find a social media toolkit with sample messaging and linked creative assets that can use to share these campaigns with your audiences and can also be passed along to your local program leaders to use on their channels. A list of JOANN stores by state with contact information for the store and store manager is also attached for reference. Feel free to pass this along or use it as you choose, but there is no requirement or pressure to share.

Land Acknowledgement

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.

This land acknowledgment has been reviewed and approved by the traditional Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' leadership. Learn more
