CCE Volunteer Updates

Volunteer Reporting Survey- Now Part of Annual Reporting

The request to include the Annual Volunteer Reporting as part of the Annual Program Reporting has been implemented. It can be found in the FAQ's document for Program Reporting and within the Quick Links on the right-hand side of the Program Development & Reporting Tool. Summarized volunteer data will be collected through the Volunteer Reporting Form.  Each county is asked to submit one survey documenting the types of volunteers engaged, along with the number of active volunteers in each area. Your effort to report this data is appreciated and will be used to help us tell our volunteer story and inform the systems/support provided.

Volunteer Success Stories

New, in the last several years, as part of the Success Stories within the Program Development and Reporting Tool, a "Volunteer Management" Priority Topic has been added! Using the Priority Topic tag or simply including "Volunteer" in your Success Story title will help to collect the stories directly connected to the impact of our volunteers.

Volunteer Engagement Listserv

Volunteer updates are shared through both the Program Staff News and the Volunteer Engagement Listserv. Are you or someone from your team on this list for volunteer updates? If not, I encourage you to share or submit a request to join the Volunteer Engagement Listserv.

Land Acknowledgement

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.

This land acknowledgment has been reviewed and approved by the traditional Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' leadership. Learn more
