4-H Spring In-Service Update

There will not be a 4-H Spring In-Service this year. Instead, we are facilitating a variety of leadership and community development opportunities such as Sparks Space. There will be the upcoming national PYD Academy focused on the Thriving Model & Mental Health (May 10th-12th) and 4-H PYD Champion Network professional development opportunities which will include NY State-specific experiences. Look for Clover Academy opportunities, offered in partnership with the Northeast Land-Grant University 4-H programs (check out the one March 10 from 9 AM - 12 PM: 4-H Program Design, Delivery, and Curriculum). We are also collaborating with NYSACCE4HE to look at future in-person conference planning.

Land Acknowledgement

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.

This land acknowledgment has been reviewed and approved by the traditional Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' leadership. Learn more
