4-H Accident Insurance Policy Renewal

nys4h4

It’s time to renew the 4-H Accident Insurance policy for the next calendar year. This policy is for January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023. Please enter and approve the numbers before December 2, 2022.

This is the number of clubs, club members, independent, and special interest members, along with number of members with horse contact.

This year the numbers can be entered by anyone with a Net ID here:

Typically these figures are entered by the Association personnel with Federal Reporting responsibilities as they are most familiar with the number of program participants. Once these numbers are compiled, the State 4-H Office will receive billing from PW Wood and break that down by county. There is no increases in rates this year. Once that process is done we’ll send a breakdown of charges in January to each Executive Director with the 4-H Educator and Association Finance Manager CC’ed. We will process the Association billing after the charges are communicated, allowing five business days to answer any questions you might have.

Please contact me right away should you experience trouble entering the numbers, or have questions about managing the process.

If numbers are not entered for your association, the billing will go through using the figures from last year, adjusted up 10%.

Thanks in advance for inputting your membership numbers so we have an accurate count for insurance purposes.

Land Acknowledgement

Cornell University is located on the traditional homelands of the Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' (the Cayuga Nation). The Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' are members of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, an alliance of six sovereign Nations with a historic and contemporary presence on this land. The Confederacy precedes the establishment of Cornell University, New York state, and the United States of America. We acknowledge the painful history of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' dispossession, and honor the ongoing connection of Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' people, past and present, to these lands and waters.

This land acknowledgment has been reviewed and approved by the traditional Gayogo̱hó꞉nǫ' leadership. Learn more
